The Brief
Action for Children are the UK’s largest children’s charity; My Action for Children was their biggest campaign launch in 2011. Designed to put supporters in control of their donations, AFC needed a fully interactive site to allow donors to decide exactly what, who and where their money goes towards.

The Solution
Revolution Digital worked closely with Action for Children and Open Fundraising to define scope, architecture & functionality before building both front and back ends, with search engine-optimised code and an open source content management system selected by us. The site integrates seamlessly with AFC’s existing e-commerce systems.

The Results
In the first six months following launch the My Action for Children campaign received 791 online donations and fully funded 20 projects across the UK. This continues to grow daily. The website attracted the support of many celebrities including Lauren Laverne, Duncan Bannatyne and Dame Judi Dench.
