The ‘Cookie Law’ and you...

copyright

On 26th May 2012 the new EU Privacy and Communications Directive (often referred to as the Cookie Law) came into force. Most UK websites still don’t comply with it. Does yours?

To ensure your site is legal, you'll need to

  1. carry out a cookie audit
  2. compile a report to assess the impact on your site users
  3. add some code to ask consent to use cookies
  4. change your privacy policy and terms and conditions of use

Revolution can make all these changes for you quickly, ensure your site is legal and doesn't attract unwanted attention from the ICO.  If you'd like to find out more let us know - we'd love to help.
